About TapestryLang
Built by someone
who needed it.
I am an engineer who immigrated from Latin America to Canada. Like many immigrants, I arrived with strong technical skills — but speaking confidently in English, especially in professional settings, was a real challenge.
Meetings, presentations, day-to-day conversations — the gap between what I wanted to say and how I actually said it was frustrating. I knew I was capable, but I wasn't always coming across that way.
I looked for tools to help and found either expensive tutors, generic grammar checkers, or apps designed for absolute beginners. Nothing that matched the specific problem: a technically skilled person who needs to sound as good as they think.
So I built TapestryLang. You speak, it listens, analyzes your grammar and clarity, gives you a refined version of what you said, and reads it back to you — so you can hear the difference.
If you are an immigrant navigating a new language in a professional environment, this was built for you.
A Canadian solution
TapestryLang was conceived and built in Halifax, Nova Scotia — a city shaped by waves of immigration and one of Canada's fastest-growing tech communities.
